What's on your Workdesk? Wednesday 179

I didn't make WOYWW last week so am glad to be back.  In fact, I have been a very bad blogger, this is my first post for ages!  Note to self, 'must do better'!

Today I am making Christmas cards using the Penny Black Xmouse Ornament stamp, its so cute!  The blue ink is Salty Ocean Distress Ink and I am using my Splodgeway mat for blending.  My Grand Calibur is to the left, Promarkers lurking behind that and a tile with more of the ink on, which I spritzed with water and used to paint the centres of the snowflakes which are from Crafters Companion Let it Snow stamp set from a few years ago.   If you would like to join in the Wednesday fun Julia's place is where to be. Thank you for visiting my desk and take care.  Christine xx

Hi Christine - that splodge mat looks like a must have. I was watching Barbra Grey use hers for brayering at the weekend. One for the Christmas list I think. Love that cute little mouse floating down on his snowflake. Happy WOYWW from Helen 56

Hi Christine, great desk, lots of pretty Christmas stuff going on there. I think I am going to have to invest on a splodge mat, sooner rather than later, I've heard only good things about it. Happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x #75

Pretty cards! I'm late starting mine this year: I seem to be swamped in a gazillion other projects at the moment - Christmas always seems to come at just the wrong time.... hopefully I'll be up to speed soon! Getting lots of inspiration from all you properly organized people :-) x Chloe 104

I'd never heard of a Splodge mat until I had to go to the club this weekend. Luckily someone bought a whole load of imitation ones from a cheapo shop.
Love that HM stamp you are using, so cute and such lovely colouring too. And I espy a Grand Calibur. Do you like yours, I love mine. Great pressure from those rollers.
Thanks for visiting me (sorry I am late) - have a lovely weekend.
Hugs, Neet x 43

Great looking desk and I am really liking the cards you are working on. cute little house mouse stamp! I take spurts of blogging and not blogging. Don't think there are any rules on it. Hope not or I have probably broken them all! Have a great week and thanks for leaving a comment on my post! Vickie #77

What a sweet mouse stamp. That is one of the ones I've always admired but somehow never managed to pick up for myself. I'll bet the finished product is quite nice.
